After leading the manufacturing unit for over a decade Mr. Gopalji Jha launched Westman Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. in 1988 with a vision to set up a firm that would address the specialized needs of the global market, utilizing the resources and expertise within this country and adhering to the rigorous international quality standards. Potassium cyanate was one of our first products. We made it both economical and of higher grade as compared to the imported material. Since then we have maintained quality for our entire product line that meets or exceeds the requirements of our international clients. We have a fully equipped modern laboratory enabling stringent quality testing.The group has an active 'Research & Development' section headed by Dr. D. P. Dave, M.Sc., Ph.D. All products manufactured by the group were developed by its own R&D section. Our products are currently being exported to the United States and several countries in Europe and Asia including, UK, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Belgium.With the passage of years, expertise and knowledge of newer fields have expanded the scope and horizons of our manufacturing capabilities. We have been taking up manufacturing custom made products also.
